Valle Crucis is a beautiful little town near Boone in western North Carolina. (I took the "artistic liberty" of moving the road a little, if there are any locals looking!) I love to see the barns with the traditional stars on them. They are abundant in this area, and I surely will soon be painting more!

The second image shows the painting as I have framed it. I chose double matting in creamy white and blue-gray, and wide, smooth wooden moulding to make the frame. All materials are of archival quality.
