I completed this painting in late February 2009. I painted it from a photo I took while visiting the North Carolina mountains in October 2008. It was a small stream that I believe was located beside the Blue Ridge Parkway.

The second image shows the painting as I have framed it. I chose double matting in white and dark gray, and moulding with a slightly rustic wood finish to make the frame. All materials are of archival quality.
