This painting is the first in a group of four paintings I did of shore birds in North Carolina. It is some sort of sandpiper, which is a very large group of birds. I'll get around to figuring out what kind....
The first image below shows the painting alone.
The second image shows the painting as I have framed it. I chose double matting in blue and sandy tan, and textured wooden moulding to make the frame. All materials are of archival quality.
