I painted this painting from a photo I took years ago while visiting the mountains in the western portion of North Carolina. This is Julian Price Lake, as seen from the Blue Ridge Parkway in late October.

The second image shows the painting as I have framed it. I chose double matting in a gold inner mat and creamy white outer mat. I used textured wooden moulding to make the frame. All materials are of archival quality.
