This painting was inspired by a house on a back road near my home on a cold winter morning. My favorite thing about this painting is that there is a little cat on the corner of the porch if you look very, very closely!

The second image shows the painting as I have framed it. I chose double matting in dark gray and tan and a glossy moulding to make the frame. I don't know how to describe the color of this frame; it's kind of brown with a slightly metallic sheen to it. All materials are of archival quality.
You may be interested to know that I painted another painting at the same time as this painting and they are both matted and framed the same way. The other painting is "Holloway Church Road".
