Orange Pansies, watercolor, $395, framed
Size of painting: 14 1/2 x 10 1/4 inches
Size including frame: 20 3/4 x 25 inches
I painted these pansies in March 2009 from a group of pansies growing in a pot on my deck. It was the first painting I ever did using the watercolor technique called pouring (rightly named, as most of the paint is actually poured onto the paper), and I was quite pleased with how it came out!

The second image shows the painting as I have framed it. I chose double matting in light orange and blue, and light colored wooden moulding to make the frame. All materials are of archival quality.
