If you've never been to Oriental, NC, you're missing out. I have lived there several times and visited more times than I can count. It is a place very close to my heart. I was standing near the town dinghy dock when I took the photo that inspired this painting. It was close to sunset, when the sky was just starting to turn pink.

The second image shows the painting as I have framed it. I chose double white matting and dark wooden moulding to make the frame. All materials are of archival quality.
