This painting was inspired by a house on a back road near my home. I photographed it on a cold winter morning, and went home and painted it in my warm home!

The second image shows the painting as I have framed it. I chose double matting in dark gray and tan and a glossy moulding to make the frame. I don't know how to describe the color of this frame; it's kind of brown with a slightly metallic sheen to it. All materials are of archival quality.
You may be interested to know that I painted another painting at the same time as this one. They are the same size and are framed the same way. The other painting is called "Palmer Road".
