I painted this in January 2010 from photos I took in June 2009 while visiting Long Beach at Oak Island, NC. Oak Island is one of my favorite places, and I enjoyed watching the children on that balcony that day.

The second image shows the painting as I have framed it. I chose double matting in sea blue-green and sandy tan, and textured wooden moulding to make the frame. All materials are of archival quality.
You may be interested to know that the matting and framing of this painting matches the framing of several other beach scenes I have currently for sale, including "Barbies at the Beach", "Beach Access", "Great Egret", "Sanderlings", "Sandpiper", and "Winter Willet".
