I painted this painting in early December 2009, from a photo I took the previous fall. The beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway is one of my favorite places in the world. This little piece is in the northern part of North Carolina.

The second image shows the painting as I have framed it. I chose double matting in dark brown and tan and textured wooden moulding to make the frame. All materials are of archival quality.
