Barn Near Todd, watercolor, $320, framed

This old barn with the quilting star is near Todd, North Carolina. Some good friends took us to their family's mountain home nearby, and we passed this barn on the way. I it was the first barn I photographed for a painting, but the third that I painted. I love the quilted barn stars, and I look forward to painting more in the future.

The second image shows the painting as I have framed it. I chose double matting in green and gray and dark brown colored wooden moulding with a smooth finish to make the frame. All materials are of archival quality.
